My name is Andy Phillips & I am the chair of Pontypridd Men`s Shed. and I would like to welcome you to our Bothy an old fashioned name used to describe a place of shelter in which men can meet.
Pontypridd Men`s Shed are a peer to peer support group for men of all ages & from all backgrounds. Basically we are all about men looking after men.

Pontypridd Men`s Shed was set up to provide Creative, Green, Practical, Social activities.

Pontypridd Men`s Shed can help men with numerous afflictions including Addiction, Debt, Disability, Divorce, Loss, Loneliness, Unemployment etc.

Our Bothy Provides men with a chance to Meet new friends, Enjoy new hobbies Learn new skills & share experiences. Our aim is to prevent loneliness, reduce social isolation & therefore lower the prevalence of suicidal thoughts.

A health through stealth strategy designed to encourage men to talk about various concerns, issues or thoughts they may be feeling.
The film features untrained actors from Pontypridd who have recently experienced personal bereavement and found solace and support within the community of Pontypridd Mens Sheds.
